Am I an artist? Or am I just creative? Is there a difference? I still wonder about this. Art and creativity have always been present in my life. Due to this, the supposed talent developed, along with life experiences, have built a mental fortress I often escape to. I started doodling at a very young age and that spark continued through different outlets. Initial work consisted of tracing, then visualizing. I recall having an issue with perspective. Still do at times. You want perfection? You won't find it here. Later on in life, I was introduced to the world of graffiti. I would consider this a tremendous impact on my life, as well as my work. I have dabbled in different mediums, did a season in graphic design, and now attempt to integrate my creativity in all avenues of life, as best as I can. This often involves an iPad and Procreate, but also heavily bleeds into my entrepreneurial ventures. Art is not my livelihood, but I am grateful to be able to provide for myself, my family, and still find time to excercise my creativity. I do believe that one day, most likely retirement, being an artist will be my livelihood, and I look forward to it. I cannot imagine a life without creativity.

Habitual Lines is an art house built on the exploration of the proper and improper. Knowing boundaries and crossing them. The name is a working method, not a slogan — impressions made again and again until the work self-manifests.

The work is signed Habitual, short for Habitual Line Stepper, which is the moniker I adopted once I joined the Web3 space. Many will get the reference, but if you don't, search it on Giphy.
